The Mach3 2010 Screenset was released by the well known and highly reputable manufacturer, Bosch. It's the 4th update of this popular software, but despite all of its features and improvements, it was quickly overshadowed by a much more radical update: Mach4. However, with so many users clinging to older versions of Mach3 or double-up on their old versions in order to be able to use their previous workflows which were no longer supported in new versions of MACH4, the demand for the actual software was quite high. Those users were all left in the dark since there was no adequate successor for Mach3 available, hence why Mach3 2010 Screenset was released. The main purpose of this screenset is to offer users with both a solution for their previous machining needs while still being compatible with the new software. It's also an affordable option for beginners who either can't afford or don't want to spend too much money on software. There are many features that are not present in MACH4, however, most users will find that they're able to use the machining process just as they would have done before installing this screenset. Most users who have tried this screenset have reported no problems concerning its functionality, however there have been a few minor issues reported. Many of these issues were directly related to the user's PDF reader so it wasn't a problem related to the actual screenset. The features that are included in this software are: The manuals that come along with this screenset aren't particularly detailed, even though they're just as descriptive as most other manuals from Bosch. The problem with them is that they don't contain any of the information that could be found in their original manuals which already mentioned what each of the tabs in Mach3 were for. For beginners, this may seem like a big problem since they wouldn't be able to figure it out for themselves, however some more experienced users prefer using this kind of manual since it doesn't overwhelm them with the endless amount of information and features that may be included in other manuals. It's worth noting that the files included in the discs are all Windows files so they can't be used on any other platform unless they're converted. The conversions aren't particularly difficult and can be done with help from various tutorials on YouTube.Mach3 Screenset Comparison, January 2015: Page 1, Page 2, Page 3 Link: https://www.reddit. com/r/CNC/comments/2u2fq1/mach3_2010_vs_mach4_vs_mach3_2011_vs_mach3/ Mach3 2011 Screenset The Mach 3 2011 Screenset is the 5th update of the Mach 3 software manufactured by the extremely reputable brand, Bosch.
